power t152s

kind of a silly question, cause i know STUFF....but not enough apparently, my friend gave me a pair of rockford fosgate power t152s. only thing is i can't get them workin correct, now be patient everybody. haha i hooked em up and all i could do was get them to bounce real nice but not make much bass. i guess since i am really quite newish, what i need is the details how i should have been doin it, considering they are only 5 1/4's and 4 ohms and stuff. really i need to know everything to find out what i did wrong. i hooked em up to my brothers sub system(turning it down considerably) and like i said they would bounce hard, but no bass really to speak of. so ya i know they are part of a component system, i just need someone to tell where i went wrong

mmhmm ya thought of that, reversed polarity, nothin changed. i dunno what i did wrong though i imagine it was something silly.....
