All different wires same at same gauge?

yes it is ok. wire is wire is wire is.......

the only difference is strand count (which is only good for flexability...dont let anyone else tell you otherwise) and color. lol....so basically if you pay more you might be getting i higher strand count, a pretty color, and a name brand...and possibly better insulation. "OFC" is only helpful in a vacuum. once the copper touches air...guess what, its not free of oxygen.

all in all, your 12 ga wire is just as good as my 12 ga wire.

 
well...look at the size of a 150 amp fuse. its small compared to 1/0 gauge wire. and its solid. at over 150 amps, it blows. if your cable gets hot enough that it causes damage to your car....you're def doing something wrong. supposedly stranded wire carries current better because of more "surface area". but at 12 volts i really doubt it makes a difference.
