My mom is a librarian, and makes $35k a year. My dad was the manager of Soybean production at a large production plant making $120k+ a year. $15k Christmas bonus on years that had a good harvest.

Funny thing is, my mom went to college four years longer, spent more money on education, and made about 1/4 working the same amount of hours.
