Well, I may be a snob still. Im one of those people who feel more comfortable at a high class luxury mall to shop at then your average town mall. This constantly pisses my GF off that im a bit high brow when I shop. I really felt uncomfortable at Aldi, and walmart is a close 2nd...

You all missed the point. They wanted me to buy a $1.99 bag to shop with....so they wouldnt have to pay for the .01 cent bags that you'd find at walmart. BUT they had no problem with me putting 25 cents into the shopping cart dispenser and then taking their brand new chrome shiney shopping cart (which probably costs $15 each wholesale) and putting it in the back of my truck and taking it home //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

So the logical thing to do was be a smartass to the cashier who has no control whatsoever over company policies.

Never been to ALDI but had the displeasure of going into a few Sav-A-Lots which are total shitholes and remind me of what it would probably be like shopping in Soviet Russia. except everyone is black, latino or a coked out white person.

Exactly. I hated talking to customers. They told me how cheap everything is at Walmart so I asked them if they needed directions to Walmart.

I never had problems with Aldi when I lived up north. I had no problems briniging in bags. Now me and my wife purchased these cloth bags to take to all grocery stores instead of using the plastic shit.
