No, TVs at that price are just crappy...

There is nothing I can do about it... It is just fact...

could it be that he just got a defective unit? Ive bought stuff that is pretty expensive and still take a crap on me and ive bought things that are cheapo and take a beating....

Either way this discussion isnt changing my mind come black friday and they have $300 37" lcd HD TVs... Ya you cant expect top notch customer service or quality or even in this case good picture quality...

But technology is advancing so fast... I paid $3,500 for my tv, now if I wanted to buy something that is bigger and better it will only cost me $1999 or so...

Now speakers those are things you can keep longer without needing to "upgrade" and same with amplifiers but tv's,receivers,processors those are needing to be changed more often if you want the latest and greatest, and dvd players are heading that way.... I am already planning on upgrading to the third gen HD DVD player that is coming out in the next two months... I have owned the first and currently own the second gen... Then I have a feeling whichever format wins if any, it will only last 5 years and then something better will come along, well they already got those protein disc...

i have a problem with people who have money insulting others who don't. i have money. i just have better things to spend it on than 3000 dollar tvs. like car audio and tools. i could buy an expensive tv, but won't. you act like a rich moron who is smarter than people without money. that's the image you portray. i just pointed it out.
