Hey just been doing some thinking lately about alternatives for our gas engine vehicles. So i googled my thoughts on an alternative for a gas vehicle and this is what i found, seems pretty interesting.

they could make cars run on anything...our government wont allow it, because of the big businesses like gas companies wont make there billions of dollars...

I'd rather have a CO2 tank at 800 psi. The problem still exists of how to power the compressor.

crash test ratings wont let them be sold here, they are too light. oh and i think the best alternative to gas is these new water cars that chevy and toyota are making.

im still owrried about the carbon fibertanks, cuz thats alot of pressure, did they do tests to what they would look like after a crash

ya i dunno thos "up to 124 miles" doesn't sound very good. And i'd guess that would be 124 miles at like 10-20 mph. I think its a good idea but i'm not sure how it would really go down.

What about the Hot Air car? The Politico model runs best in the US every 4 years...LOL! There's the Super Salesman (SS) model for high performance on a daily basis too. Hot Air cars would take over America in no time at all!

Gasoline and diesel still provide the most energy per unit of volume, unfortunately, and I just don't see any alternative fuels providing a decent alternative in the near future.

Electrically-powered cars would be fine if this weren't North America where the distance between cities and, in many cases, home and work, are so great.

Really, if you want to save money on fuel and reduce emissions, the best way is to use your own body (walk, bike, etc.), take public transportation, and/or get a fuel efficient vehicle.
