im the log wtf kinda question dat is who u think i am?
The log who the hell are you?
Anyway how did you set your gains?
What are the coils on each of the subs?
Can you push the cones on either sub down at all?

theres a ton of things wrong that probably could have contributed to it but without someone actually getting to look at it, see all the wiring, view exactly how your amp is set, check your H/U settings, i doubt youll get a real answer. you may never find out why the things tore. To me it seems like overexcursion hence the tearing/warping/bending/whatever of the cones and surrounds. that MAY indicate an improperly set gain, ssf, crossover, it may indicate the wrong box sizes for each sub (not to mention the 2 are in one box)OK we maybe have strayed away from what I had original asked. Now why have my subs torn. I know that its not good to run my 3 different subs off of one amp. DUH I KNOW. Its bad for the subs and amp now does anybody here actually know speaker mechanics and could they tell me why my subs cone tore under use. Now if I said that it was one Orion sub hooked up to one MA amp then why did my cone tear. Was it too much back pressure since it was a sealed box or was there just a weak spot in the cone and it just decided to tear now after a year of play on a multi sub and ohm system.
I don’t mean to be an *** either but I feel that there has been some miss communication.
The original question was:
Why did my sub tear?
Simple question. Why did it?
