Ahh Subs Destroyed What Happened?

Hello I have 2 subs that seem to have killed them selves. One is an 800-watt RMS Orion XTR 12 DVC Ferrrofluid injected and a Unknown Mystic brand sub. Both are driven by an 800-watt Mobile Authority amp. Both have seemed to destroy their cones. One other pioneer sub that is connected to the system lived.

As you can see the Orion has chewed through the cone and the surround

And the Mystic has only been weakened partially around the dust cap

Both sound like crap now as they are cracking, I suppose it’s a result of the wakened cones and destroyed surround. What could have caused this? Both are in sealed boxes. The only conclusion I can come to is too much backpressure. I recently added 3 audiobahn 12 inchers to the system driven by another amp.

x2 wanting to know were you running an Orion, a Mystic, and a Pioneer all off of a Mobile Authority amp and then three 'Bahns off of another amp?

For the Orion I would say that something tore it pretty badly somewhere along the way and the rest of the damage was caused by continuing to bang on a screwed up driver.

The Mystic? Well, not trying to be a prick or anything but I'd suggest that it is likely that it is just not a quality piece and lifespan was limited at best.

Shit yea ill tell the the audiobahns are all good with the correct inpedences on a 1000 watt brutis. yes the 2 subs are in the same box and the only sub i realy care about is the orion. it was in its own box. why would 2 in sepret boxes die and one live. would the ovious inpedence mixmatch have caused this. it has played fine for over a year till i added the cheap mystic sub after my bostwick's voice coil wires melted on top of each other.

I dot care bout the mystic i was realy just ther to seal up the hole left from my bostwick and if it blew oh well. and yea all are running off the MA amp.

Belive it or not when i had my bostwick it was as loud as a single audiobahn and sounded beter. I cant afford good subs so im a trash picker and when an idiot trashes a sub because of a bad surround or a loose voice coil wire ill fix it and if its beter than i got now ill put it in my system. Granted it looks like shit its all about how it sounds right now, me I dont giv a Flipen F what it looks like just as long as it sounds good. Anyway it only costed me about 100 for the whole thing. and i have no job now so i have to pay a 290$ car insurance bill and outrageious gas prices. And belive me if it dident sound good i wouldent even use the subs i got.

Anyway how did you set your gains?

What are the coils on each of the subs?

Can you push the cones on either sub down at all?
