If my amp has two 30amp fuses on them, then would I use a 60amp fuse on the power cable?

I don't get it? Would I use a 60amp fuse?

I can run a 4 or 8 gauge wire, amp is 600wrms.

what size wire do you have?

8 gauge: ~55 amperes

Class D (~70% efficiency) -

Class A/B (~50% efficiency) -

6 gauge: ~87 amperes

Class D (~70% efficiency) -

Class A/B (~50% efficiency) -

4 gauge: ~140 amperes

Class D (~70% efficiency) -

Class A/B (~50% efficiency) -

if you have 8gauge use and 55 amp fuse on 4gauge use 140

Does the wattage of the amp contribute to the decision of the fuse?
