I have a Ford S-MAX Titantium 2008 with the oem Sony cd6000 unit.
I've recently purchased a double din clarion navi unit and the required harness adapter also.
First issue I came across is there's no 12v ignition feed in the standard quadlock adapter that this car is fitted with only a single constant 12v feed. To power the unit I've had to feed a cable from another 12v ignition based electrical source in the car.
However also in the quadlock connector appears to be an alarm sensor cable.. and since fitting this unit the alarm goes off multiple times through the day and night.. upon putting the standard unit back in.. this stops..
Any idea how I can sort this? Thanks in advance.
