after about 20 mins... they're low

Test batt power with Multi Meter while playing music. Should rest at or above 12.8 below 12 is no Good. Also check your battery at Autozone or Pepboys it may be time for a new one. Get big 3 done (see link)

have you checked your voltage before and after it "loses power"
A digital multimeter. Watch while you play.

Voltage is between 13.5 and 14.8 or something in that range... doesn't drop below 13.5

what can i do now? do you think it's the amp? this may not be the proper amp to power these two subs?

Lol @ $50 for a volt meter. OP go to ebay search volt meter and you'll find some mini volt meters for under $10.
I think I paid $4 for this and it arrived in like 3 days. Yes it is bright but some thin black film will calm that down if you don't want it to stick out so much. My volt meter is right under my headunit and it's the same color as the screen so it doesn't really stick out much tbh.

where did you purchase that? i want //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif

The big 3 should be done no matter what...it costs like $20 to do and it clears up one of the biggest bottlenecks in a setup.
Sure if your running more than a stock system can handle. A bottleneck is phenomenon where the performance or capacity of an entire system is limited by a single or limited number of components or resources. If your not trying to exceed the performance of the factory system a bottleneck isnt there. Therefore, its not needed.

Ebay brah. Just look up mini volt meter or something. And before someone says anything about them being inaccurate, they have a calibration screw on the back of them. I tested my volt meter right out of the box without any calibration and it was spot on with my DMM.

Here's one:

Mini Blue LED Digital Volt Meter 4.5~30V For 9V 12V 24V | eBay

nice, i'm thinking about purchasing it. i wonder where i would mount it though without having to cut my dash...

You could mount it somewhere as simple as your fuse box under the dash, usually there is a little compartment that opens up. Just attach the volt meter in there and open it up when you wanna see your voltage lol.

If its not voltage my next guess would be heat. Either your subs or amp is getting hot and can not perform optimally with the extra heat. But that is, as stated, a guess. Every time I've heard of diminishing performance it has been due to voltage problems.
