I was wondering as to what are the pros and cons of these 3 type of ports(Aero vs Rectangle vs L ports), being that I know everybody has different opinions on how they sound. Reason Im asking is cuz I am wanting to build a box at 4.0ft3 @ 38hz after all displacments tommorrow and was wondering as to what people would think would be the best type of port to use to be able to do well on the mic but as a daily driver, and still sound good and hit the lows good as well. My sub is 1 15" RD Alpha V.2 D2

Thanks guys for the help

Any of the above can sound as good and get as loud if properly designed. The benefits of each design is more related to how much room you have. Aero ports take up much less room inside of the enclosure, which allows the overall enclosure size to be smaller while achieving the correct tuning. L ports take up more room within the enclosure, but are easy to design and do not require the additional expense of buying ports.

For future inquiries, I would suggest searching as this topic has been covered many, many times.
