Ae Av?

Again, incorrect. A high top end capability is a byproduct of an extremely low Le. While I know this is over Le is also a major factor into distortion as well as transient response, aka. woofer speed. Just because a woofer does not need to extend up to 1.5kHz does not mean that it is a bad thing for it to do. This is an excellent paper for you to review and help to educate yourself as you are obviously in need of some education on the topic http://stereointegrity.com/docs/WooferSpeed.pdf
inductance is frequency dependant.. for the inductance to affect 80 hz it has to be over 10mh... so your saying you hear hte difference in a 3mh design vs a .5mh desing @ 40hz.. if you think so your very saidly mistaken.. those old woofer speed papers are so misleading i simply choose not to discuss them.. anyways reactance is what causes the actual resistance in the inductors abititly to carry the signal, not inductance itself. as i said its totally frequency dependant.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Yup, this just sealed the deal on your stupidity. Reactance and Inductance are the SAME **** THING!!! Reactance is just the generalized term used to refer to inductive AND capacitive effects, so I guess reactance is actually the incorrect term to use here anyway. Glad to see you show how little you truly do know, lol.

also you don't understand how motor strength and lineatrly account for a high bandwidth.. if the woofer doesn't have the motor strength to move the mass fas/far enought your going to get lowered output/efficiency.. its extremely rare that inductance affects a subwoofer.. and 99% of the amps today have a high enougt dampning factor to supress the affects both durning the signal and after.. i have tested tons of woofers, and i have yet to test a woofer in a ideal install for which it was designed take 400% of its rated power... even subs like DD3500 strugggles to take 4.5kw and its built with a much stronger cone, suspension and much more surface area viz the much larger 3" VC as well as the extensive cooling... i folded the AVs cone in 3 cubes tuned to 31 with less than 2kw.. id like to see the TRUE RMS voltage and AMPERAGE that the woofer was exposed to..

Sorry, nothing you say anymore bears any weight what so ever, you really should just stop.

its used to describe how the EMF force affects the circuit, where as inductance is the amount of force... i wonder....

Looked more like it just got in a fight with an outlet
well it must be junk because my prototypes and several other woofers induclding 4 15s and 4 12s never hand any problems... my protos are rated @ 800, yet ive burped it with 2 of my 1750s with no problems up to 2K+.. i had the AV on both of um @ 4ohm these woofers are d2 so when i play each one @2ohm its getting close to 2.2kw after impednance rise when i burp it..

funny you still think your hearing a difference in reactance in a circuit thats proven to be inaudible mathamaticatilly.. seriously your the man.. ill send you my drivers so you can help me get .0001mh and hear hissing all day...

It's not that hard to get Le to 0mH, ever heard of a counter coil? I am betting not.

we measured it but this was months ago I dont recall it is posted in my thread about AE though and we calculated it out to 4000-4500wrms. If its that big of a deal I will look it up for you but either way it never mechanically failed it was clearly a thermal failure and we all watched it smoke. made for a good show.
