2 DD 9512's Vs 2 AQHdc315's

Currently i have 2Hdc3 15's which are in a 6.0 cu ft box, so its a little bit small for the AQ's but its max out complety on size. Running 2 40.1 strapped and im guessing im doing about 6krms so 3k on each hdc315.

recone the HDC's to alum coil 12's and build a smaller box for them...

Gross i believe, and yeah the AQ's like every month is getting old, **** the day i have to inhale ca clue having to do a recone!! But i would hope it would be louder too. . .

id do 1 18 with 6 cubes net.. id say save for the warden or the Z series APXX super heavy wieght, DC level 5 etc.. your going to get better lowend, but topend won't be as loud.. downgrading to 2 12s is near 1/2 the cone area while 1 18 is less than 1/2.. you will get about 1db difference with the 18 over the 2 12s...

Why would I want softer spiders? Makes no sense dd is some of the highest quality woofers on the market and their spiders are really stiff.
