I'm looking to get a hard hitting system, but I'm cant quite narrow the choices down. So far i know I want to spend no more than 1000 on 2 12's and an amp.(probably off of ebay) And i want some hard hitting base, but not sounding like shit. I was thinking maybe 2 L7's or 2 M3mojos something like that....... anyone have any suggestions?

I've got two L7 12's and they get the job done quiet nicely i have a kx 1200.1 powering them, my mirror fell off the other day and took a chunk of glass with it which sorta sucks:uhoh:

yeah if you only care about loudness mainly then go with a kicker product, CVR's are cheap and will get pretty loud.(I seen 12" CVRS for as low as $80 american on ebay)

I would if I was you however and get in on the groupd deal RE is having and you oculd get

RE MT 12" for $385 american shipped to you

Or

RE SX 12" for $220 american shipped to you

I'd say go with two Diamond D6's running on something like an Orion 1200d

1 12w7 and a hifonics amp somewhere around $300 for the amp around $500 for the sub and you got $200 in your pocket for new cd's to go with your new system.

are you going to be porting the 12s? If you plan on running them sealed I would go for a 15 ported instead.
