my car was stolen. they left behind 4 tweeters and 3 woofers of my ads 320i speakers. these have a lovely sound. I am missing 2 crossovers and 1 woofer. i will replace the one woofer with another speaker, which i shall pick out on my own, unless given advice about where to find a replacement. can i safely drive the 8 speakers (4 tweeters, 4 x5" midrange speakers) with the 2 crossovers that i have left. i would run them in parallel and thus the crossovers would see a 2 ohm load. i am nearly 60 and don't crank the volume up too much. I will power the speakers with alpine 125w x2 or 100 x 4 if i go with a sub. or should i buy a new set of crossovers 2500 hz 2 way such as http://www.simplyspeakers.com/speaker-crossover-2-way-a-1301.html
or use the 2 that i have? i am on a budget, so i am looking to not replace most of the speakers.
your collective silence speaks volumes. i will undertake to solve the problem using my own resources. i am not going to tell you what i did or how it turned out though, so there!
