Advice/Opinions wanted for Intern!

Hey guys, I just recently decided I'd like to try and take my passion for music to the next level and try to apply for an Internship at a record label (mainly looking at TRUSTKILL RECORDS right now). I was wondering if anyone has any kind of experience doing this, tips, advice, or knows anyone in the field that could help me out (not necessarily hook me up on a free ride) but just help me to get my foot in the door. I'm gonna be working on a resume and cover letter soon so any tips/advice on that would help greatly also. thanks for the serious/honest input guys.
