i have an older audiobahn 12 that i was planning on using for my car

aw1251q dual 4 ohm 800max 400 rms

the problem is the amp i got (4 channel to run front stage rear and sub) when bridged will do 320rms at 4 ohm, unfortunately it isnt 2ohm stable

i was looking into a fosgate p2d2 12 which is dual 2 ohm 400 rms or possibly keeping the audiobahn for a while

obviously the p2 would match my amp 10x better but my question is i JUST got a new prefabbed vented box 1.85 cube tuned to 38hz.. fosgate said max air space forthe p2 is 1.79, now im pretty sure .06 wont make a huge difference

where my question lies is has anyone heard anything about the p2s? specifically in a vented box? or any other sub suggestions for me under $100?

unfortunately 100 is about my max budget and im kinda lucky to get that.....(married with 2 yr old)

Is anything else running off that 4-channel? If not, look into the Boston GT2125 since Sonic's got a sick deal on them. 2ohm stable bridged and will put out about 400W in that configuration. Otherwise, any dual 2 sub should work fairly well. You should really look at maybe returning that prefab and having someone like @double 07 ; build you an enclosure. That tuning is way too high IMO.

i am running everything off the one amp....

fronts will be sc6t soundstream components 80rms

rears will be soundstream pct.653 90rms

all running off clarion eqs746 with my phone as an input

first 2 channels will run all the speakers

and ch3/4 would run the sub which bridged it does 320 at 4ohm
