I have the following component speakers and was planning on putting one set in the front and the other in the rear:
MB Quart PCE-216
Polk db5250
I currently have the Polk speakers in the front, but am unhappy with the lows they produce. This is why I decided to go with the MB Quart speakers and move the Polks to the back. However, I've been hearing a lot about how lows are not as directional as highs and its better to have more bass coming from the back. So, Im wondering if my original thinking was faulty and I should put the MB Quarts in the back. On the other hand, even setting aside the lows, the MB Quarts are simply better, higher quality speakers all around, so maybe I should leave them in the front? Therein lies my confusion.
What do you suggest?
PS. This may all be a moot point because the back only fits 5.25" speakers whereas the front fits 6.75". So, can the 6.5" MB Quarts even be put in the back if I wanted to?
