Advice on new head unit

Shopping for a head unit double din with basic functions; CD player, pandora app,connectivity for my I phone to listen to music. Any other functions recommended? New to this, appreciate any info.

Other than looking at head units in stores, which I recommend since there should be no shortage of car audio stores in your area, it's helpful to enter your vehicle's details on crutchfield.com to see what comes up. You can sort by features, price, brand, etc. I recommend Bluetooth as well.
