For my speakers I have a 4 channel amp to connect my 2 front and 2 rear speakers.
For my sub I have a 2 channel amp.
My HU has 2 RCA outputs.
Would it be possible to connect my 4 channel amp to 1 RCA output on the head unit and my other 2 channel amp to the second RCA?
on the head unit as my previoud head unit had 3 RCA outputs. 1 RCA output for front speaker, 1 RCA output for rear speaker and 1 RCA output for sub. With this configuration would a 2 channel amp for my front and rear speaker be appropriate.
i have heard of y connectors, what are the downside of theese are where would the fit into the configuration?
some of the spec of the head unit is
•» 2.5V Line and Subwoofer Pre-Out Level
•» 2 RCA Pre-Out Terminals (Front + Rear/Subwoofer Switchable)
•» Subwoofer Control
•» High-Pass Filter
