Sounds good, and I am not worried about getting power to it. I was retarded and didn't see the D4 coil setup. The D3 is a good sub, but I don't know how it'll work in a sealed box. If you're worried about not having enough power for the Dayton at 4ohms, you can always put it in a 2ft^3 box for a more efficient setup. It also calls for a 2ft^3 box for a .707 qtc, so it works out anyways.
I hear nothing but good things from the home audio front. How does it do in a trailblazer? I mean that hypothetically, as in how does it sound in a vehicle.I saw RAM mentioned a Dayton HF. I have one of these 15s in my room on a 300w Bash plate amp. Listen to the thing every day, actually listening to it right now. Great sub.
The HF's are made for sealed boxes, and extend lower than most subs can in a sealed box. The low inductance is great for rock, or music with the need for quick bass reproduction, and obviously low distortion is a good thing as well. With a sealed box woofer, it's pretty hard to go wrong or not be happy with it. The lower it can dig, the better. It's not like it's a sub made for large, low-tuned ported boxes for home EBS setups...a good sealed woofer easily transfers from one environment to the other with good results.I hear nothing but good things from the home audio front.
