Hey im looking into the Rockford fosgate T162S 6.5" 2-Way Component speakers and im wondering if anyone has any reviews or has experience with these speakers? Im wondering if there worth the money and how they sound?? Im planning on running 2 pairs of them on my Rockford T600-4 channen amp. Any input would be greatly appreciated thank you.

I had a set that I just recently sold on here along with the Power Coaxial 6.5s

The comps were good speakers, good midbass, loud, and have a overall pleasent sound to them. The tweeters are huge though, so thats something you may want to keep in mind.

Though they sounded fine, the detail was not as good as I felt it should have been. Ive had Polks high end and MB Quart, and these dont compare as far as detail in certain music goes.

One thing, power is a issue with them. The 100 RMS rating is a joke, much like the Boston Pro60s theses comps like power. IMO, 200w RMS is fine for them daily, and they get very loud off that power. I even had a set off my Orion 4002 bridged at 400 rms passive and it took it fine, with the gains set correctly of course, but I would not recommend that much power all the time.

Nice overall comps but for the price I see them used on ebay, you can get some better stuff on here in the classifieds.

Kool thank you very much, what other brands would you go with that compare to these? I really don't mind spending some money.

i have the t162c coaxils. i love them. i was never a RF fan either so i was very critical of these. tweeters are a little bright but a good deck can even that out. the components im sure are even better and will make you happy. i thought i blew one but turns out i didnt. im throwing 75 rms at mine and the eat it up.
