I've considered that.

You can get what some consider to be a quality Dayton setup (speakers) from PE for less than $50 shipped. Add parts, labor, etc, and you're probably looking at a bit over $100. I'm keeping perspective on my budget. I'm just making the point (that I think you've gotten) that though $100 isn't much for one bookshelf speaker it could be good when you consider you're buying mfg direct.

Interesting thing i guess I should keep in mind.

I am still interested how they can build it cheaper than me unless PE is making bank on Dayton speakers and no one knows.

I've wondered that myself.

I PE a dayton dealer, or a dayton mfg? If they're a dealer they must be like Sam's to be charging so little or those speakers simply aren't good.

I think PE doesn't manufacture Dayton, but more like a joint venture.

Too many people think they are good. Not to mention they are sexsi.

Dayton is PE's brand label. It's probably made in Taiwan drivers, hence the low prices.

Some drivers may be from Eminence.. who cares... as long as you chose the good ones .. lol ...
