Advanced front stage opinions.

As far as I know, since it only has 3 sets of output RCAs, you can't run a fully active 3 way front and sub with IMPRINT, only active 2 way with sub (unless you run quasi-active with the midbass and midrange active and a tweeter with a cap, if you really want a 3 way)
But, the Imprint would be nice investment to go active with your HSKs.
That would mean getting a 4 channel. Would it even be worth it? The HSKs have really good Crossovers already

For running the HSKs active, you could keep your current 2 channel on the mids and add a small amp to the tweeters. Whether or not its worth it is for you to decide. Personally, I like aspects of both. But, passive crossovers sap some of your power. So, active will probably yield a power increase to your front stage dependent on what amps you choose to run active with. Too, running active is a nice way to have full control over your system and get better results than virtually any passive set can offer. It's also a good way to completely screw your sound and/or equipment up if its done incorrectly. Its one of those things that takes patience. Personally, I'd wait until everything is in and you have done all you can with your current equipment and install to get the desired results. If, then, you have not, consider other options, such as active....

Thats what Im going to do. The install is as good as its going to get minus glassing the mid out. Im going to wait for that until i decide if active or not cause I want to glass the CO also if it stays.

Man I run the Hybrid Legatia speakers in ALOT of customers vehicles and am personally doing the Legatia 8"V2's in my doors and 3"SE's in my dash with no tweeters at all. Those speakers are the best I have ever heard, btw active is definitaly the way to go
