For running the HSKs active, you could keep your current 2 channel on the mids and add a small amp to the tweeters. Whether or not its worth it is for you to decide. Personally, I like aspects of both. But, passive crossovers sap some of your power. So, active will probably yield a power increase to your front stage dependent on what amps you choose to run active with. Too, running active is a nice way to have full control over your system and get better results than virtually any passive set can offer. It's also a good way to completely screw your sound and/or equipment up if its done incorrectly. Its one of those things that takes patience. Personally, I'd wait until everything is in and you have done all you can with your current equipment and install to get the desired results.
