The T series like adulbrich has weren't made for how we use them in the U.S. The same isn't true about the HD series.

You're not going to get rated power from any 10k board wired at 1 ohm. You can't compare a Korean amp at .5 to a Brazilian amp at 1 ohm, it doesn't work that way. The new Brazilian amps do not blow at full power either. They were not designed to run under 1 ohm and that's why they blow

If you haven't used a new Brazilian amp maybe you shouldn't comment on them without knowing what they do and don't do

Idk at world finals I heard some of the 180+db guys talking about when switching out 100k power of Brazilian power to like 48k Korean power they gained on meter.
Senchez gained from 2 TS 8.5k (Korean 11.5k board) to 2 HD10k (Brazilian 10k). They do more power after rise as seen by their specs but can't be wired low which I assume the 180 guys do, since Craig blew some Z's on 20k worth of Korean amp per sub on a burp which shouldn't happen wired at 1 ohm

I wont use Brazilian. I almost did but I'm not a broke ass
Wanting to blow money to look cool isn't a very good reason for an amp purchase.

Koreans and Brazilians both have their place but just because one is more expensive does not make it better. It uses more components at lower internal voltage so it's more expensive and takes up more space for half bridge.

He was at world finals this weekend. He has taramps in there and was doing 157db I do believe

You continue to boast about them and talk as if you have all these amps in your vehicle. You are a taramp dealer and benefit from trying to show how well they "work".

Just like my previous experience people mentioned how db drive has won records in the lanes, but are you gonna waste your time with cr4p soft parts and always blowing? Nope!

Same goes for taramp, no matter the new line or not they cannot handle vibrations, they cannot do rated to long (on the current clamped brazilians), they cannot be wired low.

Ive talked to 3 taramp distributors and some of the company techs who reside in brazil. They all have said even the new lines being made for US mainly are still not up to par with the original competition amps made in asia.

Didn't you use to hug DB drives nuts?

He was using 4 subs with 2 acting as a PR because his other 2 amps didn't come in as planned. And it was still a 162 in the kick

He did about the same number with the old subs on way less power. The 2 subs not being used killed the score

I've used 3 different new style Taramps (DSP series and HD10k, the 10k is improved over the rest) so yes I do have personal experience with them.

The DSP and HD10k actually have fixation rods to fix the vibration issues the old ones had, so that point is incorrect. They cannot be wired low (which I don't do anyway) but they do plenty of power. Plenty of people have clamped lots of power from them including one of my team members clamping 6k from his rising to 5 ohm dropping below 12v (same as 6k at 2.5 ohm if it were a 1 ohm version)

Buying what you are 100% sure is going to work for your application the first time is NOT wasting money. Its doing it right the first time which tends to be more cost effective
My Brazilian amps 100% work for my application.

Didn't they clamp less power as the frequency dropped?
there's a drop on some of the lines below about 30hz, it's about a few volts drop but i dont see why it couldnt be eq'd out. im unsure of the amount of audible difference there is for a few vac

no one really knows which exact lines, i asked. all i got out of it was that the new dsp line is flat from 8hz-20khz or something

The DSP is flat from 8Hz-20kHz and the HD is something like 10Hz-15kHz

The low end lacking came from the Banda amps that came with a subsonic filter that only went down to somewhere around 30-40hz so they dropped off really bad down low, but they were replaced with a lower 17Hz subsonic filter with a small update to the parts used

I can't speak on the T series frequency response because I have not used them and don't recommend them as they are the ones known to cause problems.
