adjusting amp with DMM(read stickys)

I set my gains on -10db tones. Just never play test tones above -10db. You will be safe on music as long as you have at least a little XP in caraudio. Most music is what -6bd And you will never get full power from your amp setting @ 0db. But it is the SAFE way to do it for teh n00bs.

So i read the formula for my HU: 4V / 3 would equal 1.33 volts. Now the question..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blush.gif.99bc659ee2012b7d826165e26fb5eebe.gif 1.33volts at what? while playing a -3db tone( seems safer than -6db)? do i still put the HU volume at 3/4 for setting my gains? (can't be!) what do i put my volume knob at to calibrate? thanks

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gifeverything is the same except the tones.
So basicaly set the gains like the tutorial but using different tone wich basically mean that the gains will be higher in the end because of lower db tone right? BTW do you know of a place i could find a test tone of -6db at 50htz? ROE doesn't have one. Thanks.

Edit: i tried the link in the above post but they are no seeders:crap:
