Adive on terminal cups / wraping enclosure

I have an enclosure for two E.D. 8" subs, and does not have the inside edges routed. What is the best way to carpet/vinyl this type of enclosure?

Any tips/tricks/word of caution when wiring in the terminal cups (2x subs will be wired in parallel)?

i never use terminal cups. i just drill a small hole for the wire to pass through, seal it. or use a bolt through the wood. just a little simpler to do.

and there is a carpet "how to" around here.
