I'm really looking into getting some Adire Brahamas right now and was going to power them each with this JBL BPx2200.1

That is the link to see what i'm talking about. Tell me if ya'll think that would be an awsome setup. I've had my fair share of SPL with my Kickers. So I wanted to go pure SQ this time around, but still wanted it to hit extremley hard.

For space I have around 9-10cu ft. in my trunk, and I have a preatty big budget right now, guessin' around $2,000+. So if you guys could help me out that would be great.

Actually on the website for the brahamas they said it takes at least 1600rms but if you know more about them or own them alright
Nah, they don't "need" 1600, thats the thermal rating of the coil. The JBL you are talking about could push 2 brahmas close to xmax easily, and yes I do own that amp and have owned brahmas.

the way i understand it'll take alot more than 1600 watts to blow a brahma thermaly its the over excursion you have to watch out for, i put mine in a low tuned ported and it seemed to have less movement then in a sealed (then again i had a shop build the sealed so there may have been leaks) so i'd go that route and be very careful with your gain settings or even get smaller amps but you can always keep the gains down
