adio needs a new sub.........

i didn't. i had them crossed at 80HZ. the only song i can think of that had real high bass was...... 'vans' ( got my vans on but they look like sneakers....) and my 8's realy able to pick that up just fine.
ur fukin lyin!! what frontstage setup do you have?!?!

real high bass is called midbass //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif I have Hybrid Audio clarus 5 1/4's (IB) and l1v2's in the kicks. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Haha.....sorry man. Get some 8's and run em from 60-500hz, and you will love life again.
Don't need to run the midbass up that high unless your using dome midranges. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Can you move the box around. Somtimes upper bass cancellation at 60hz is due to the way the phase at the headrest position work with subwoofers in the trunk. Anyway what kind of budget you looking it at? I use my AV15's up to 125hz at 24db/octave. They have enough ouput to keep up with high end 8" pro audio midbasses at that poin too.

yes

explain that a little more....

idk yet, depends on what ppl recommend

if you face the subwoofer towards the drivers seat so forward firing and don't seal off behind it usually 60hz and up ends up having a node of cancellation near the drivers seat in most vehicles. That's why most ppl either seal off behind it if they turn the box that way or simply face the box towards the taillights so everything reflects off it. Try some different positions and see if your upper bass increases any. You may find simply rotating the box or putting it on the other side of the trunk makes a huge difference. I know in my caddy I actually measused a 5db gain at 65hz by putting the woofer right next to the taillights vs having it in the center of my trunk. That was with a single 10 so i had lots of room to play with a 2.5cube box in a 10 cube trunk.
