Addition of mid bass drivers

Is the rear door a reasonable place to mount mid bass drivers?

no, you hould have your midbass up front as well. midbass frequencies are not low enough to be non-directional, so if you had them in the back doors you could tell that its coming from behind you, which is not what you want. if you can put them up front with your midrange/highs, that would be the best.
