Adding aux input to old school clarion deck?

So my son just turned 16 and if starting to get interested in car audio. So I went to the basement and dug out all my old stuff which still works very well but my head unit does not have an aux jack. So I went to the store and online looking for a newer headunit. Well nothing looks good to me.....so I'm wondering how hard it is to add one to my current deck. My current unit is a clarion xdz616. The specs on that deck say it has aux inputs. Maybe on the back?

Thank you for looking that up! The input rca in the back don't seem to work well. I plug into then but it only played on the back speakers and at a very low volume.

Look at AUX Function.

Early stages of aux input were RCA/3.5mm type connector. These can be found cheap almost anywhere.
