Wrong man...hunted for years...still do. Trained, certified in far more then just gun safety and proper use. Has nothing to do with this... as I said gun safety and crimes of passion (the vast majority of gun related injuries) don't work well together.

I assumed by your fierce argumentative nature that you didnt keep guns in the house.

My point was that out of the millions of households which contain guns, most of those owners are not trained and only own a gun because they "can." Us who are trained are WAY less likely to have any death in our household related to firearms. That is where the "stats" are too general. I admit, the risk of being killed or injured in a house with a firearm is WAY higher... if the owner isnt trained and doesnt know the gun inside and out. I do not agree with the fact you saw saying the stats apply to every gun owner because most gun owners are not as proficient with their guns as the smaller group of us. Therefore I do not think the stats apply to me.
