My buddy has a VW Tiguan and wants to add a small system to it. Looking at factory HU into Dayton DSP, Focal 6.5's speakers, sub maybe Alpine R or Dayton Ref

I'm mostly worried about the amps...I know obviously stop/start makes the voltage fluctuate...what is the safest way to add aftermarket amps to these kinds of vehicles?

Anyone have experience with this?

Thanks!

You can install an interface that maintains voltage to your amplifier, or an interface that defeats the start/stop function. Do a search on the web to investigate, or call the local car stereo shop for information.
