Currently have two 15 RE SE dual 4 in a sealed box in the back of my truck. These are the last gen ones, the ones right before the SEx came out. Box is definitely on the small side, only like 4.25 or something after displacement.
Whether or not I add a third I will be going with a bigger box. Plesae don't mention ported as I don't want a ported box.
Thinking about adding a third but power may be an issue.
I don't have the money to buy a new amp and currently have an orion 2500d.
Amp puts out 1200 at 4 ohm, which I'm wired to right now, and 1700 at 2 ohm. So I would basically be running somewhere right in the middle if I add a third sub right? Seems like they would all three be underpowered so would adding a third sub thus making them all 3 underpowered be noticeable gains or just go with the bigger box.
Or I could run the amp at under 1 ohm but I don't really want to do that either. Plus I think that would be overpowering them quite a bit.
Cliffs notes:Add a third sub making them all underpowered and adding more sq. ft per sub or just add more sq ft per sub for the two I already have.
