I have a cadence 6004 that has shut off about 3 times now, and from feeling it, due to heat. I have the subs hooked up correctly and the load is 100wx2@4ohms front to pg rsds, and 400wx1@4ohms bridged to a kicker cvr 12. It seems to run at 24 volume fine all day, but at 26 it kicks off after a few songs. I have my gains set at 35.
Anyways i have alot of 12v computer fans (80mm), and want to know how to hook them up to my battery and to only run when power is on to the amp. I have seen one that a company makes that is just for amps and the hookups are positive from remote lead, and ground to chassis. So does the remote lead provide consant 12v power? i thought it just sent some for the on signal then the off.
If it does provide power would that be fine to do, to just hook up a couple fans to the remote along with the amp, then ground it all to the common point on the chassis where i grounded my amp.
If i want to use two fans should i do it in series or parallel with the remote lead.
