Hello all, I am going to be adding an analog ammeter to my audio setup soon. The one I picked out has a range of 0-300A which is a little more than I need, for headroom. Both the shunt and the meter are rated for 75mV also. Will this work if installed in parallel on the amp's ground wire? Want to make sure I don't start any fires lol. Any help/tips appreciated!

Ah yes, I saw that video before. However he is dealing with current on a much smaller scale. My question remains, will the ammeter and shunt mentioned above work safely with a Kicker CXA1200.1 Amp? Appreciate any info.
