added fan to amp it went into protect mode y ?

i installed the new wire its 2g now from my battery to the d-block then 2g power to the rd and 2g ground for it now what happens is the turn the car power on it plays fine then when i start up the car the amps turns off whats the problem now

 
bigger wire isn't going to solve your problem, not even close.
what is it that i need ?

one or two runs of 1/0 gauge to the rear where you will have one or two large sealed agm batteries. from the batteries, one run of 1/0 to the rd amp and one run of 4 to the pa amp. grounds for the two amps returning to the rear battery bank. you will also need to do the big three under the hood.

and finally...

oh, and fyi, you wouldn't need a fan to keep the amp cool, if your voltage wasn't dropping into the 10's...
