added fan to amp it went into protect mode y ?

maybe yea i should just get a battery just for that amp
its a rd 2200 and a .67 ohm load

the way its wired ok 5gauge wire from my battery with a 250a inline fuse going to a d-block with a 100a fuse for the rd2000(6g power wire and ground) and a 80a fuse for my power aucustick 4 channel 840 watt amp then the fans are all connected to the power aucustick amp so why the hell is the rd cutting off
are you for real?

yes, capacitors. you need three or more

Let me get this straight, you are running 5 gauge wire directly from your hood battery, to the d-block, and then to the Rd2000, and you don't know why its cutting off? Are you serious? Zero battery in the back?
yea that what im doing so if i buy a new battery cause ive never done this before i just put it someone where ground it out and run it to the power on my amp right ? and also leave that power from the hood in that amp too

Alright listen. Don't just get any battery. Get a battery designed for audio. Get a kinetik hc1800 online, and GET 0 gauge wiring before that 5 gauge catches on fire.

Lolz. That reminded me of the time when I was 16 and used 18g speaker wire for my ground. Smoke poured from my trunk but my ish was still playing
I had 10 gauge power and 16 gauge ground on a 300W amp when I was 17. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

No fuses. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

People recommending capacitors are joking. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

With that much power, 5 gauge will not work.

And your alternator (if stock) can probably not keep up.

You would run wire from front battery positive to trunk battery positive. Then wire from back battery positive to amps. Ground wire from back battery negative to ground location.

0 gauge is highly recommended....
