Active Crossovers - AudioControl?

Ok, I got everything else picked out. Peerless csc-x mids, lpg 26nfa tweets, monitor 1 70x2 amp for tweets and avionixx 800.2 for mids. I just need a crossover. I was gonna get a 4xs, but read somewhere that it messed up the sound quality pretty bad. [ECA thread - Scroll down] So I want to know what I should get. I would like one with bandpass ability, low for subwoofer, and room for upgrade would be nice. I like audiocontrol's units. The plug in resistor pack doesnt seem that annoying to me, if all i do is just get some resistors and plug em in, can't be that bad. I like the subsonic that comes with them as well (PFM). Also, that way I know what frequency it is at, unlike those knobs with 40hz on one side and 800 on the other.... Im up for suggestions tho. Budget is 100, would like to keep it below 70.

Anyone know the best way to get wires from one side to the other. Right speaker wire comming up left side, need to get it to the right door, afraid of interference with all the electronics by the dash. Someone said go out the firewall, then back in. I got power going up passenger side, so I dont want to run speaker wires with that. 92HondaAccord.

I would stick with Audio Control. You can never go wrong with them.

Don't worry about running the speaker wire near the power wires either. The people that keep propagating the "keep the signal (including speaker wire?!?) as far as possible from the power wires" myth need to be shot.

The AudioControl 6XS is a good unit. It has a bandpass for the mid, and a level control for the lowpass output.
