How u guys doin

I've got a set of polk db6501 and a PPI P900. 4

I'm gonna run as an active. As the amp can do x10 for lpf and hpf, i can put hpf and lpf for mids and hpf for highs.

1. That's a powerful amp, am i gonna have problem if i connect tweeter straight to the amp? Or i can just keep the gain down?

2. What frequency for mids and what frequency for highs do u recommend?

Buy a pair of non-polar electrolytic capacitors, 20 uF or similar, to wire in line with the tweeters.

4 kHz high pass and low pass, turn the gain all the way down on the tweeter channels and listen. Unless it doesn't get loud enough, and it won't require much power, only turn the gain up in small increments.

Can I still run a mid and a high on the same amplifier channel when I switch to a dsp?

It's always leaned that direction. Not sure how cheap you can really get anything done these days. Deadening and custom mounting...
