AC epicenter?

it has to do with adding computerized bass or putting bass back in where it was lost in recording or what not, something along these lines, on Realm of excursion, steel city sounds does it with epic off and a vid with it on see if you can tell the difference //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

wait im kinda confused... it can create bass frequencies that arent there to begin with? or does it just use what is there to make the bass more noticable? or both?

squeak, if there is a song with little to no bass, will it create bass that it 'thinks' would blend well with the existing upper frequencies?

No, it doesn't just pull bass out of nowhere.

As I said, it "searchs" the music for what it thinks is upper harmonics of a lower fundamental frequency. If/When it finds an upper harmonic, it will recreate the "original" fundamental frequency. So, basically, it adds bass to the music that may or may not have originally been there.

I'm guessing that doesn't make sense to you because you don't understand harmonics and fundamental frequencies. Read up on those and you'll understand what it does. For a simplified example; 80hz is an upper harmonic of 40hz (the fundamental frequency). It may sense an 80hz tone, think it's an upper harmonic of an original 40hz tone, and henceforth reproduce the 40hz tone at a given output level based upon the 80hz tone that it sensed.

But no....it won't just "magically" create it's own bass rythms to blend with the song.
