AC epicenter?

ok thanks for clearing that up a little squeek.. youre right i dont understand harmonics too much but i think i get an idea for what youre saying.

80, i think it depends on where ya got ya settings. i turn it up a few times juss 2 see wha it does and its insane, but the sub does move more, but no sign of stress. wouldnt play it for long wit knob all the way up.

what happen was i set my epicenter center freq at 27hz..then i set the wide knob all the way to the right so that it restores over a wide frequency

by doing that..it really got my sub moving some serious air when i turn the knob all the way....but for normal use i would have the knob turned up halfway

and i never blew my sub with the epic turned that high

so would i be correct in assuming that frequencies under 40 hz are what the epicenter seems to boost the most. i figure theres a way to change what freq.s it centers around (like 80 said).. but if i tune my box at 32 hz would the epic be almost a waste of my money? spkrman was sayign earlier that without a sealed or very low tuned box it isnt worth it....

I dont think he said it wasnt worth it. Its just that it could boost the low end bass so much that it would pop ur sub if the frequency boosted is below ur tuning.
