Driver speaker set too loud

Hi all,

I have the following problem.

I have a set of infinity ref 6500cs powered directly from the HU. HU ballance is on 0.

My doors are deadened, driver's door a bit more carreful than the other due to fatigue and time.

When I drive I hear much louder my side of the car. If I go to the middle of the car I hear it quite balanced.

The passenger aslo hears his side louder than the drivers.

Do you also have this problem? I know it sounds silly and could be fixed by adjusting balance from the HU but that cannot satisfy 2 people. One I guess has to sacrifice //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif.

Coud it be a phase problem?

fvck the passenger and satisfy yourself. the reason you hear louder is simple you closer to the drivers speaker. thats as much as i know tho i cant tell you how to fix it unless you maybe have time alignment

Try flipping the polarity (+ & -) on the far speaker. See how that sounds.

it's hard to satisfy both the driver and passenger, damm near impossible. set it up so it sounds good for yourself, most passengers dont know chit about proper imaging, soundstage and all that.
