absolutely no sounds from any speakers

Ok, i was installing my friends woofer. Its one D4 sub powered by a amp that had 2 speaker wire imputs. I really didnt know how to wire it, so i just wired one coil, since it was only 2 wires. I did this and the sub was only vibrating and their was still sounds from the front and rear. Then i decide to wire everything. i merge the two + wires into one wire so that it can go into the + imput and the same with the negaite. When i turn on the car, nothing from the sub, and nothing from the front and rear. The amp is on i can hear it, and it wasnt on protect. Any help?

wire like this.. and enjoy.. don't ever guess on wiring your subs.. you cant hurt ur amp and your subs.

Option 1 (parallel) = 2 ohm load

Voice coils wired in parallel

Recommended Amplifier: Stable at 2 or 1 ohm mono
