I'm just getting into car audio after being involved in DIY home audio for a while and I'm trying to sift through different amps and brands to figure out what to get. I think I've made my decision but I'd like some opinions before ordering them. Because I'm using a miniDSP I need a 4 channel amp for the mid basses and a 2 channel for the tweeters. So far I'm looking at the MB Quart FX4.70 and FX2.60 which comes out to $180 for both. If anyone has any opinions on better amps within that price range or opinions on the MB Quart ones I'd love to hear it.

You don't need two amps. The speakers come with crossovers to help protect the tweeters.

Perhaps you changed something without mentioning it here? Maybe a loose turn on line? I dunno man...but we'll take it. Hopefully it keeps working. 👍
