? about ohm load on amp

if I run a 4 ohm SVC off a 4 channel amp with the rear channels briged at 2 ohms will that damage any thing?
the sub is 4 ohm

the amp will see 4ohms

if it is bridgeable at 4 ohms

you have no issues //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Near as I can figure he means chan 1+2 run at 2 ohm stereo and chan 3/4 bridged to 4 ohm load (which the amp would see as essentially the same as 2 ohm stereo).

You'll be fine assuming the amp can run down to 2 ohm stereo or 4 bridged. Even assuming the channels were driving different loads, you'd be fine as long as none went LOWER than what it's designed to push.

I was reading the manual on running 3 channels off a 4 channel amp it said that the rear channel bridged would be at 2 ohms . I know I can't wire the sub at 2ohms. the manual confused me.and was woundering if the sub would be fine
