About $2 billion in economic stimulus rebate checks are being confiscated

if you require 700 a month in income from the other partner inorder to raise a child PLUS the fact you should be contributing yourself...are you buying the a kid PS3 every month?

You know I was going to stup to your level and start making fun of your wife but enough said already.... If you must attack the guys who are going threw the CORRUPT system then in my book it makes you no better then them(domestics)
I wasn't making fun of those being screwed. I was making fun of those dodging responsibility. Guilty conscience?
but how do you know he doesnt see it the other way too . you dont so shshhhhhh
I know he sees it from his perspective dipshit. Fact is I have seen it from both sides as an outside spectator and know it happens equally to either party. I also understand it means nothing because the kids are more important than which parent is being screwed more often.
/yourself. That is the only solution for your dumbass.

Are you saying that kids require less than 1400/mo to raise?

I seriously beg to differ. Which explains why me and my wife don't have kids.

The average cost to raise one child in a middle-income family is roughly $200,000 over 18 years. Adjust that number depending on the area, tack on college expenses, and $700 a month only amounts to half of one child's cost. Not exactly excessive.

Is that right?
Funny, how I have seen it for the last 3 years. Might not be doing it, but that is because I know how to take care of mine and always will, period!

Scrap that, I do it everyday of my life, without thinking of it. I buy her clothes, food and buy her toys galore, reading material. I have spoiled the shit out of her. You think 400 some dollars is bad a month? Shit, I wish!

Please enlighten me with something else. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Hey I pay $512 a month plus I have to pay for when she is with me.. So I have double the cost of most.... Try to think before you speak

..it all depends on the area you life. and the life you want to give them. but yes less then 1400 ONTOP of your own expenses already.

If you have her more than her mother does, you should be getting the child support. You need to file for primary custody and find a better lawyer than the guy who handled it last time.

BTW if you are spending 1400 a month then you are an idiot! kids dont deserve that much being spent on them if you can just pay the house bills then ok but 1400 on just youre kid. they are going to grow up wanting everything given to them

B F'in S. He owes his part of you financially no matter how well off your mother is. /story.
it takes more than finances to raise a child. it would've been better for me if he didn't have to pay at all. it really hurts to see your father living in a garage and left with nothing while being nagged by my mother "has he paid his child support yet?"

That $1400 a month has to cover alot. More food, more clothing, a larger living environment, a larger car, education, recreation, childcare, the list goes on and on. Again, it's not excessive at all unless you think a child deserves nothing more than secondhand clothes and ramen noodles.

This is true. Your dad's case seems to be pretty extreme. These days, you really need a prenup when you get married. Your dad would have had a much easier time paying for child support if he didn't have to completely rebuild his life after the divorce.

WAT? That proves you are an idiot that should have never had a child. It costs that much to give them the monthly NECESSITIES. If you ****s can't afford to spend that much on kids THEN STOP HAVING THEM YOU IDIOTS! Kids aren't cheap. That is why my selfish *** doesn't have kids.
