ABC box

so, an aperiodic bi chamber box

2/3s vb with the woofer connected to 1/3 vb without woofer, both chambers ported, all three ports tuned the same?

has anyone ever tried an enclosure like this with more than 2 chambers.....?

say, maybe, 1/2vb with driver, 1/4th and 1/4th vb all same ports

or even with 5ths?

just curious what the results would be?

also, ive never seen it but this doesnt mean it doenst exist...ABC boxes with more than on driver?

i may be upgrading to one M3 and was thinking about going abc

ehh ive never really been a fan of abc boxes. id take a t-line over an abc anyday

i thought abc boxes had the ports tuned to different frequencies so they peaked at a larger frequency range. might be wrong...

nope, all the same

although, if they were different length ports, there would still be one resonant frequency so i doubt it would make much of a difference

abc enclosures do not yield enough benefit for the difficulty they bring in design and building... in my personal experience

ive heard thaat from alot of people, i'd jsut like to further my knowledge through trying every tyupe of enclsure possible and deciding whether it was worth it or not for myself

also, is there any kindof a sweet spot port area wise dependant on driver size?

im jsut stumped on how much area i should use for my 15 M3

im gonna tune to the mid 30s so about 35/36hz

im thinkin about 80 in^2?
