Alright so I finally bought my 2nd DD1508 today and I've started reading up on how to build ported systems. I've decided to tune to DD specifications for this specific box because 1) I couldn't find T/S parameters for the 8's on their website, and 2) DD conveniently lists mounting/enclosure info so I don't have to do much math at all.

I'm going to be building a 2ft^3 (NET volume) box tuned to 40Hz, with dimensions and slot port calculations as follows:

Sides = 15" x 12"

Top/Bot = 15" x 24.5"

Back = 10.5" x 24.5"

Front = 10.5" x 21.25"

Port Length = 16"

Port Width = 3.25"

Port Height = 10"

I'm not 100% sure my calculations are right so I'm wondering if you guys see anything wrong with these at all. I'm hoping to start Sunday afternoon/evening or Monday evening on this new box once I know my measurements are correct. Thanks!
